Games you can say yes to

Money

• Free to play. Paying is never needed to play, to grow up a pet or to win.
• Nothing random is ever sold. No loot boxes, no paid keys, no paid surprises. Anything with a price shows exactly what you get before you buy it.
• Never pay-to-win. Things to buy are only for looks. Nothing bought makes a pet stronger, faster to grow or better in a battle.
• No pressure to buy. No countdown timers, no "only today" deals and no limited stock on anything with a price.
• Purchases go through the app store. If a child's Google account is supervised with Family Link, the game waits for a grown-up's approval.
• No ads in our games, and never a "watch an ad for a reward".

Friends and strangers

• No chat. Players can't send each other messages.
• Friends by private code. A friend is added only by sharing a code, best done in person or between families.
• Safe nicknames. One word, letters only, checked against a filter and easy to report. We ask children not to use their real name.
• Strangers stay anonymous in battles. A grown-up can switch off friends and leaderboards altogether, and can hide a player who shows on a leaderboard or sends a friend request.

Privacy

• Little data. No real names, email addresses, phone numbers or home addresses from players.
• Online status is off unless a grown-up turns it on.
• Grown-up settings are behind a grown-up check, so a child can't change them by accident.
• Each game has its own privacy policy saying exactly what it keeps, why, and for how long, and an account can be deleted from inside the game.

Time away

Life happens: school trips, holidays, busy weeks. In Maatjie Arena a grown-up can switch on holiday mode, and the pet waits safely, with nothing lost while you're away.
